Elle Tremble is one of the most representative cuvées of the project by Léna Perdu and Alexis Robin, founders of Les Bois Perdus , a small winery located in the heart of the French Ardèche. Made from Merlot grapes sourced from organically and biodynamically cultivated vineyards, this wine expresses a fresh and uninhibited vision of natural winemaking. Its name refers to the earthquake that shook the Ardèche during the production of the first vintage, an event that marked the history of this wine.
A juicy and vibrant red wine, with aromas of ripe red fruit, plum, currant, and a fresh, minty vegetal note. On the palate, it is fluid, fresh, and full of energy, with a silky texture, soft tannins, and a delicate minerality that adds depth and elegance.
Made exclusively with Merlot grapes from vineyards planted on schist, limestone, and basaltic soils. The winemaking process follows a minimal intervention philosophy, with spontaneous fermentations and no added sulfites, seeking to preserve the identity of the grape and the landscape as much as possible.
Ideal with artisan sausages, grilled meats, roast chicken, Mediterranean dishes and soft cheeses.
