A wine born from vineyards steeped in slate on the banks of the Sil River. Guímaro Tinto is fresh and straightforward, with vibrant red fruit (strawberries, cherries) and a floral touch that makes it very appealing. On the palate, it’s light, yet lively, with an acidity that keeps it vibrant and makes you want another sip. It’s one of those wines you don’t overthink: open it, share it, and enjoy.

A fresh and clean nose with pronounced notes of black and red fruit; very smooth with floral notes and mineral touches. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and good acidity, it has a pleasant and smooth mouthfeel.
The winery’s young red wine is a fresh, unoaked wine made primarily from the Mencía grape variety and a small proportion of other indigenous varieties. It comes from different plots in the Amandi subzone, located at varying altitudes and orientations, and with different soil types of slate, granite, and sand. It is aged on its lees for 4–8 months without stirring.
The red wines from inland Galicia ask for octopus a feira, pork shoulder with paprika and soft cheeses.
We like it because it’s one of those red wines that you drink like a white wine, fresh and energetic.
