Noroeste 2022 is a pure and vibrant expression of the volcanic character of La Palma and the personal work of Victoria E. Torres Pecis , one of the most sensitive and respected winemakers on the current Canary Island scene.
The wine comes from old, pre-phylloxera vines located in the northwest of the island, on volcanic soils and steeply sloping plots, cultivated using traditional methods. Victoria is committed to native grape varieties —Listán Negro, Listán Prieto, and Negramoll—and to a philosophy of minimal intervention , allowing the vineyard and the landscape to express themselves with complete honesty.

A light, fluid, and very drinkable red wine, with aromas of fresh red fruit, spicy notes, and a mineral background that clearly recalls its volcanic origin. On the palate, it is lively, with good acidity, soft tannins, and a clean, elegant finish.
Elaboration
The production is natural, with spontaneous fermentations , without makeup or artifice, always seeking freshness, balance and authenticity.
Food Pairing
Its ideal pairings are grilled vegetables and meat, and salmon tataki.
Why we like it
Because it’s pure volcanic fire in the glass, a wild and energetic wine.
