Tasting notes
It’s a light red wine with a fluid profile. On the nose, it stands out for its aromas of fresh red fruits like strawberries and raspberries, accompanied by a subtle touch of cherry. On the palate, it’s smooth and refreshing, with a balanced acidity that enhances its fruity flavors.
Elaboration
Moncerbal is made with fruit from three plots in the Moncerbal area, centuries-old vineyards of Mencía grapes, with low yields, planted in goblet style and oriented southwest (80%) and northeast (20%).
Food Pairing
It is a wine that can accompany legume dishes, red meats and grilled vegetables very well.
Why we like it
We love it because it’s a wine that’s both subtle and wild. A true Mencía.
