Morgon 3.14 comes from Jean Foillard’s oldest vines in the Côte du Py, cultivated naturally and harvested by hand. The grapes are brought to the winery whole, without destemming, and ferment spontaneously with native yeasts using carbonic maceration, the traditional method of the region.
The wine is aged for several months in used French oak barrels, which round out its texture without masking the fruit, and is bottled without added sulfites. A minimal and respectful approach that allows the Gamay grape and the Morgon terroir to speak for themselves.
