Terraprima Blanc 2024 is one of the most emblematic wines of Can Ràfols dels Caus , a pioneering winery that demonstrated the enormous potential of single-vineyard wines in the Penedès region. Located in the Garraf Massif, surrounded by a landscape of limestone and Mediterranean forest, the winery has worked for decades with a philosophy of utmost respect for the environment. Terraprima is a fresh, elegant, and highly expressive white wine, capable of conveying the personality of this unique terroir.
A blend of Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Chardonnay, Muscat, and Garnacha Blanca , this wine offers a highly aromatic nose with notes of white fruit, peach, citrus, white flowers, and fennel, accompanied by a delicate mineral background. On the palate, it is fresh, full-bodied, and balanced, with well-integrated acidity, a silky texture, and a long, refreshing finish.
The grapes come from our own vineyards, cultivated on calcareous soils in the Garraf massif. Harvesting takes place at night to preserve the full aromatic freshness. Each variety is vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and then the final blend is created to maintain the maximum expression of the fruit and the terroir.
