Palo Blanco 2024 is Envínate ‘s flagship white wine in Tenerife and one of the finest examples of Listán Blanco , the most emblematic white grape variety of the Canary Islands . It comes from vineyards in the Orotava Valley , on the northern slopes of the island, influenced by the trade winds and the humidity of the Atlantic.
The Listán Blanco grapes from century-old vines contribute citrus notes, herbal aromas, and a powerful tension. The volcanic soils and altitude lend freshness, verticality, and a pronounced saline character.

Appearance: Pale yellow with golden highlights, clean and bright.
Nose: Citrus and lemon peel, white fruit, aromatic herbs , a touch of flowers and a mineral and slightly smoky background of volcanic stone.
Palate: A taut and vertical entry, with vibrant acidity and a texture with some breadth from aging. Very saline and mineral, with a long, clean, and slightly bitter finish.
Palo Blanco is made with Listán Blanco grapes from vines over 100 years old , sourced from several plots in the Orotava Valley located between 400 and 850 meters above sea level, on volcanic soils of black sand and basalt. The vineyard is farmed organically and the harvest is done by hand.
The wine ferments with native yeasts in concrete tanks , without temperature control. It is then aged for about 10 months in 2,500-liter oak vats and used barrels, which add texture without detracting from the fruit or salinity.
A very gastronomic white wine that works especially well with grilled fish , seafood , oysters, rice dishes , fish in sauce, roast poultry, fried foods and aged goat cheeses .
It is also a very good option for Atlantic cuisine and for dishes with a salty or iodized touch.
